Centering: Ensure front wheels are perfectly straight. The new clock spring comes with a centering clip – do NOT remove this clip until the clock spring is fully installed and the steering wheel is in position. Rotating the clock spring without the clip can damage the internal ribbon cable. Turn the clock spring clockwise to lock, then turn counterclockwise approximately 2.9 turns to neutral position, aligning "▶◀" marks.

Steering Angle Sensor Transfer: If your original clock spring has a steering angle sensor attached, you will need to unclip it and fit it to the new unit.
